EICR Remedial Works

Overview

PTM Combined Services was appointed to carry out remedial electrical works at Riversdale Primary School following the completion of an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR). The project focused on rectifying identified defects, ensuring the electrical installation complied with current safety standards and providing a safe learning environment for pupils and staff.

The Challenge

Following the EICR, a number of remedial works were identified that required prompt attention. As the school remained operational, all works had to be carefully planned and coordinated to minimise disruption to teaching and daily activities while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

Our Solution

Our qualified electricians completed all remedial works in accordance with the recommendations detailed within the EICR. This included repairing and upgrading electrical installations, replacing defective accessories and components, and carrying out all necessary testing and inspection to verify compliance.

Working closely with the school’s facilities team, the programme was delivered efficiently, with works scheduled around school operations where required.

Results

All remedial works were completed successfully, bringing the electrical installation into compliance with current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and enhancing the safety and reliability of the school’s electrical systems. The project was delivered on time, with minimal disruption to pupils, staff and the day-to-day running of the school.
