Case Study: Hendon Town Hall
Lighting Maintenance & Electrical Services
Overview
PTM Combined Services was appointed to carry out lighting maintenance works at Hendon Town Hall, helping to maintain safe, reliable and efficient lighting throughout this historic civic building. The project formed part of the ongoing maintenance programme, ensuring lighting systems continued to operate to the high standards expected within a busy public building.
The Challenge
As a Grade II listed civic building that hosts council meetings, public events and community functions, Hendon Town Hall requires lighting systems to be maintained with minimal disruption to daily operations. The works also required careful consideration of the building’s heritage features while ensuring modern lighting performance and safety.
Our Solution
Our engineers carried out planned lighting maintenance, identifying and rectifying faulty fittings and components to restore full operation. All works were completed safely and efficiently, with careful planning to minimise disruption to council staff and visitors.
Routine inspections and testing were also undertaken to ensure the lighting installation remained compliant and continued to provide a safe environment throughout the building.
Results
The lighting maintenance programme was completed successfully, ensuring reliable illumination throughout key areas of Hendon Town Hall. The works helped improve the ongoing performance of the lighting installation while supporting the council’s planned maintenance strategy.
