EICR & Emergency Lighting Remedial Works

Overview

PTM Combined Services was appointed to carry out Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) remedial works and emergency lighting upgrades at Devonshire House School in North London. The project was undertaken to address defects identified during the inspection process and ensure the school’s electrical systems met current safety and compliance standards.

The Challenge

Following the completion of the EICR, a programme of remedial works was required to rectify identified electrical defects and improve the performance of the school’s emergency lighting system. As the school remained operational, all works had to be carefully planned to minimise disruption while maintaining a safe environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Our Solution

Our qualified electricians completed all recommended remedial works in accordance with the EICR report. This included upgrading electrical installations, replacing defective components and carrying out repairs to the emergency lighting system to ensure full compliance with current legislation and British Standards.

Following completion, all installations were tested and certified, confirming that the electrical systems were safe, compliant and operating as intended.

Results

The project was successfully completed on time and with minimal disruption to the school’s daily operations. The completed remedial works restored compliance with current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and emergency lighting standards, providing a safer environment for staff, pupils and visitors.
